Woodcut
Woodcut printing has given me a chance to explore my love of places in a new way. There is the fun of creating depth using only a black line, the challenge of developing patterns that will work within the constraints of the wood grain, and the fun of actually cutting the wood.
This is just the beginning of a new way to create my art. I look forward to finding ways to bring together my love of painting, mixed media and printmaking.
