unbelievably blue skies with white popcorn clouds

lupine growing wild, purple, blue and pink everywhere

green grass, green trees, green reflections in the water-all sparkling with light

clear, crisp air, full of breezes

Bras d’Or lake from the front porch of the little red house where there was coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, wine in the evening

wild roses along the edge of the lake, looking like a carefully landscaped garden

white sailed boats on the blue lake echoing white clouds in the blue sky

 walking, walking, walking

 Cape Breton Music

two times seeing the little river otter at St. Ann’s Bay

Lobsterpalooza at the Gaelic College, Sparky, crab dip and lobster quiche

incredible sight-layers of fog, thunderhead clouds and crystal blue sky over St. Ann’s Bay, all moving at racing speed

Rosemary’s great meals and lots and lots of laughs

airplanes over the lake in celebration of the centenary of the first flight in Canada

chalk cliffs topped with trees also seen upside down in still water

wagon ride to Benn Breah pulled by perfectly matched dapple gray cart horses

wading up the Baddeck River in the late afternoon
