CLOSE

seeing ocean for the first time at age two

twisty, windy road up and down hills along the ocean cliffs

sheep grazing on the flat, wind blown pastures

the old wood trestle bridge across the Albion River

camping out in moldy army surplus huts with friends

lots and lots of laughs

bonfires and foggy nights, sea air and strong winds

ocean fishing for who knows what from a canoe using abalone as bait

boating up the Albion River to see the ancient wrecked and rotting schooner

redwoods and Van Damme State Park

watercolor seminar with Vernon Nye, my wonderful professor
